Jim Thorpe Wedding Expoâ„¢

Jim Thorpe Weddings & Events, in association with Through the Looking Glass Caterers and the Mauch Chunk Ballroom , created and put together the first ever Jim Thorpe Wedding Expo™ . The event was a success and was well recieved by brides and vendors alike . We completed our second expo in November 2011 and plan to do one every year in November.

 

 

 

Production Coordination – Hoffman Productions

We were recently hired by a NY based production company with offices in the Lehigh Valley, to be production coordinators.  We assist the director in creating a timeline for his shoot , coordinate all staff at the site including and make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be, on location trouble shoot, and coordinate any needs for the set, including making arrangments for cast & crew meals, etc.   

 

Jim Thorpe Victorian Heritage Festival 

 

 Jim Thorpe Weddings & Events was instrumental in helping the not for profit orginization turn the annual Victorian Ball into a three day weekend event in Jim Thorpe . The event was organized with the Victorian Ball as a focal point with other historically interesting events taking place over the course of the the three day weekend.  The board, along with Jim Thorpe Weddings & Events. This yearly event is an ongoing not-for-profit project Tara, head planner. 

The Jim Thorpe Burlesque Festival

In addition to planning weddings , family reunions and any private party, we are also involved in planning large scale special events in Jim Thorpe.  We worked on planning the First Annual Jim Thorpe Burlesque Festival in March of 2010 to much success and fanfare.  You can find information and articles on the original event on our Press Page.
