Jim Thorpe Weddings & Events recently became the Regional Event Planner for BC Sports & Sporting the Stars Fundraising & Charity Division. We are proud to be working with such a reputable company that offers a fantastic and RISK FREE way for organizations and companies to raise money for their causes.

WHO THEY ARE: BC Sports is a sports memorabilia company that has been in business for decades. All of their signed memorabilia pieces are high quality and guaranteed 100% authentic. Their main offices are located in Exeter PA near Philadelphia with retail stores in the greater Philadelphia area.

WHAT WE DO: BC Sports offers a RISK FREE way to raise money by giving charities and organizations signed memorabilia pieces on consignment. That means that there is no up front costs to the charities. Whatever they do not move at auction (either live or silent) or sell at their events, they return to us. They are billed a minimal price for any items they do move and the difference is pocketed by the organization for their cause.

Because BC Sports has been very successful in helping charities in and around the Philly area , they are branching this service further out and have enlisted individuals and companies like Jim Thorpe Weddings & Events in bringing this to organizations in other areas. We are servicing the Lehigh Valley/Allentown/Carbon County areas.

How it Works: Tara , of Jim Thorpe Weddings & Events, will take some information about your organization. We will then give you a list of items in our inventory for you to select from. Choose as few or as many pieces as you want. The minimum price the organization will pay is listed, along with the suggested retail (but who says you are limited to retail? ). We’ll send the items to a local BC Sports store or to Tara for you to pick up. You either hold silent or live auctions, raffles or sell the products and when the the event is over you return what you didn’t sell. You’ll receive an invoice from us for the minimal price for each of the items you did move and Voila! It’s an easy and successful process!
